I. ABOUT THE SOURCENET NETWORK.
By Rollin White
Finals are over and Spring is here! With the release of the
April information kit I'd like to start a new wave of
recruiting. I've covered most of the programming oriented
Fidonet boards in the past so we need to look else where. I'd
like to compile a list of people who are willing to upload our
information kit to large BBSs around the country on a regular
basis. BBSs like Execnet, Mustang Software, Salt Air and
others.
Jay Heyl has also suggested a few other means of increasing
SourceNet's visability and I am looking for volunteers to help
me pursue them
----------------------------------------------------------------------
II. THE GROWTH OF SOURCENET.
SourceNet was created in June of 1991. It echos in 11 major
states, with a total of 27 members and growing! This info will
be updated monthly so everyone may see the growth.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
III. FIDO SUPPORT.
As I had hoped we have established a number of FTN hubs. Gary
Butters at 124/2342, Paul Roberts at 103/140, Tom Carroll at
347/110 and Mike Jordan of 105/330 have all been helping out.
Thanks guys!

IV. File Areas
CES BBS maintains one file echo for FTN nodes named SOURCE. I
will distribute all infokit and newsletter files through that
area. QWK nodes will be able to download the files directly
from CES and I encourage hubs to permit the same.
V. ARTICAL SUBMISSION.
If you would like to submitt an artical to be printed in the monthly
newsletter, please submitt it to Computer Education Services
BBS(714-965-9963) by the 20th of each month. We will try and
make this a monthly letter, and would like to make it a National
publication, for various topics. Since we have the resources, we
might as well use them. If you feel like you would be
interested in writting a column, or contributing in anyway to the
newsletter, please let me know in the Net_Admin conference.
